The use of C.A.D. has become an every day method of effectively providing engineering design drawing services and HTS have fully integrated computer technology into the supply of engineering drawings and documentation as part of the design service.

The services of the our C.A.D. department are also available to clients to support their own engineering design staff either at times of peak design load, or for the provision of drawing facilities that are not readily available in-house Even quite small drawing requirements can be satisfied economically.

We can undertake C.A.D. work on a basis of either fixed price where the client can clearly define requirements or on a daywork basis where the work cannot be clearly defined or the time scale requires a quick turn around.

Our C.A.D. department utilises the latest versions of AutoCAD software packages, with facilities to plot to any size of paper in black and white or full colour. The workstations are networked and each computer can share all the resources of the company such as printers, modems, CD data & file storage.

We can send and receive drawings via our E-Mail system for the fastest possible turnaround of your requirements.

The AutoCAD software includes transfer facilities enabling AutoCAD drawing files to be exchanged with most types of C.A.D. systems.

These facilities under the direction of their own Department Manager and dedicated operator/designers, allow H.T.S. to provide optimum flexibility and speed in producing drawings and documentation to the highest of standards required by industry. The C.A.D. operators are fully qualified with City and Guilds qualification in AutoCAD (4351/2/3).
